How We Can Help You
Orthotic Therapy
Many lower limb concerns can be addressed through restoring the function of a person's foot. Using 3D scanning technology, our podiatrists can capture a patient's foot in the most complete and accurate detail. Using years of experience, the podiatrist assesses the foot to formulate a diagnosis that treats present ailments and ensures optimal foot function. Once the devices are designed and manufactured they will be fitted to ensure the highest level of comfort.
General Foot Care
Most of us, at some point, are troubled by corns, thick nails, calluses, or cracked heels. Although these minor inconveniences are not serious, they can significantly limit our ability to perform basic tasks. Our podiatrists can provide quick relief and devise comprehensive solutions.
Injection Therapy
Cortisone injections can help relieve pain and treat inflammation in specific areas of the foot and ankle. It's commonly recommended when you have a plantar fasciotomy, bursitis, joint inflammation, neuroma or tendon problems. The injections contain two substances: a corticosteroid and a local anesthetic. To determine whether this is suitable for you, see one of our AHPRA endorsed podiatrists who can perform this therapy.
Sporting & Occupational Injuries
The foot is a complex structure composed of bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, and blood vessels. For some people the nature of their work or sports activity exposes the foot to overuse or injury. Our podiatrists can diagnose the source of the problem and recommend a variety of treatment modalities to recover.
Diabetic Foot Care
People with diabetes require thorough and careful diabetic assessment and management. Sadly, many diabetics suffer from diabetic foot complications that can have severe effects on their health. Our podiatrists conduct diabetic foot screenings, including testing blood supply, nerve function and structural assessment. We provide ongoing management of the person's foot care.
Biomechanical & Gait Analysis
Foot and ankle pain often results from the function of your feet and lower limbs. With over a decade of experience in evaluating a range of foot and ankle concerns, including muscle testing and gait analysis, our podiatrists thoroughly evaluate the foot and provide an explanation of why your foot's function is causing your present complaint and affecting overall lower limb function. After the assessments, we will discuss a variety of treatment options.
Foot Mobilisation Therapy (FMT)
FMT uses a mobilisation and manipulation therapy to fix biomechanical and foot alignment issues. These misalignments are often the cause for foot and leg pain. Using a series of treatments and techniques, FMT works in conjunction with your body's own healing capabilities to aid recovery and help prevent further injuries.
Podiatry for Children
A child's foot is much different than an adult's. The development of a child's foot is an intricate process that should be properly monitored over time. Poor development or injury may require intervention from a podiatrist. If you have concerns about your child’s feet, it's wise to visit a podiatrist to ensure everything is going in the right direction.
CAM Walkers, Braces & Splints
Our podiatrists use a range of CAM Walkers, ankle braces, and splints to treat different foot and ankle issues such as stress fractures, ankle sprains, bunions, and painful heels.
Diabetic Grade Footwear
We can measure and fit a variety of medical and diabetic grade footwear.
Foot & Leg Pain
You let us know where your symptoms are in your foot/ankle/shin/knee/hip, and we will show you a number of ways to reduce it. Our philosophy is that “things heal quicker in an environment of minimal pain”.
Community Education
Our team is dedicated to engaging with the local community. If your community group or sports team are interested in having one of our podiatrists provide an on-site presentation on podiatric issues, please contact our reception on 9836 3222.
Orthotic modifications & servicing
We pride ourselves on transforming old uncomfortable orthotics into something more comfortable and effective. We have helped many clients who have presented with an old pair that is “too hard” and easily modified it to something “that’s better”.
Limping
This is often synonymous with lower-limb pain, movement restriction, leg-length difference and/or muscle weakness. Our job is to address these fundamentals to improve your limp.
Ankle & Knee Podiatry
Our podiatrists use a top-down approach to podiatry, where they consider a range of aspects other than simply the foot alone.
Foot/Ankle/Knee Physiotherapy
Our physios will offer much more than the standard strengthening and gait re-learning techniques that take too long to ‘kick-in’. We will identify what is causing your pain/discomfort/issue in the first session.
Limp in - Walk out. That is our aim.
Running Assessments & Programs
Our running guru, Anthony Aloisio, is available to closely assess your running technique and/or provide meticulous plans/programs in-season and off-season.
Physiotherapy
Our Physios specialise in alleviating discomfort and enhancing mobility across a spectrum of conditions. From expertly managing back pain, neck, and headache issues to offering targeted interventions for shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand conditions.
Limp in - Walk out. That is our aim.
